Yes, i got my license! all of the fretting and the practicing was worth it,
oh yes. Next: a car.
October. Whee!
Everything's set for my trip to Michigan, except a name. this trip needs a
name. I'm trying to think of something but coming up blank.
But I've got clearance from work to take a day and a half off, i have the
ticket, and a plan on how to get to the airport.
This is the real vacation, after all. This is going to be me spending time
with friends in an exotic (exotic? Hm. It's michigan!) locale. And i will
go to all of the places that ZC tells me
aboutBeaner's, where he works, and all sorts of other places.
And i'm going to meet Loba! i'm quite excited about this, I am. I'm going
to meet her and...we'll see what happens after that.
I have hopes, but whatever happens i'm not going to be disappointed.
Today, work gave me a box containing a Maglight solitaire penlight and a Space Pen. This makes
me happy, because it combines two of my obsessions: writing implements and
gadgetry. With the space Pen, i can write upseide down, on slick surfaces,
and underwater....thuogh why i'd want to write underwater, i have no real
idea. But i can if i want to, and the idea enchants me.
Of course, some day I will buy a Century II pen.
and some really fine paper....mmm.
Have I mentioned yet that I really, really like good office supplies?
Something about pens and paper, rubber cement and envelopes...
