I had an extended awkward phase, and there are few pictures of me from then. This is one of the few I like. I was fifteen, and I was in Hawaii with my mom. (I was growing my hair long in here, too.) I made that shirt I'm wearing, and i quite literally wore it till it fell apart.
Here I am, at my first "real" job in Seattle, at a company which no longer exists. 1997, I think.
Sometime around here, I got a little tattoo.
