A good measure of how busy I am right now is that I just sat here for a minute and tried to remember what day it was, what week it was, and whether my birthday had come and gone yet. thank goodness for Outlook 98's calendar.
I've been hard at work trying to herd a small army of production people and get this damn project done. It's been interesting, mostly because this whole database publishing stuff is kind of weird, and requires a lot of understanding on my part. And then i get to try to explain stuff to people, and it doesn't always work. i spent about 90% of the time i've been at work explaining things. over and over again. *sighs*
This thing goes out Monday morning, so we get to work through the weekend getting it ready to go. then, when that is done, we have XXXXXXX work up the ass to do. At the peak, the production group will be 9 strong, including me, and possibly more.
i'm going to be working insane amounts of overtime for the next few months, which is just fine by me. more money is always a good thing.

They're living together.
Funny, I'm not really bothered by this. I really am over him. I don't need him in my life, and I doubt he ever will be in my life, since he's made it perfectly clear that he wants to be the one to make the first move--and he's too much of a coward to do so.
His loss. I've moved on.

What else has gone on in the week i've not updated? I went to see Tori, which was absolutely fabulous. I saw this woman i used to hang out with a lot, but she was with her new boyfriend and i didn't say hi. She's made it pretty clear she wants nothing to do with me, so i'm content not to force the issue.
Mostly, i was working on the aforementioned project. I need to get Mike over to my house soon, because he can help me solve my problem with DNS at madstop.org (if mail to idat@madstop.org or madstop@madstop.org is bouncing for any of you, i'm sorry--i'm having problems. they'll get fixed soon, i promise.) and help me move the smaller of the two aquariums. He and Ivana gave me a pair of small bookcases, one of which is going to be a fish-tank stand.
In fact, this morning I walked out the door to find that the second of the two bookcases had mysteriously arrived on my doorstep as I slept. *hee*

I think that's it. My cold is all better, I may be looking at moving to Kansas City (how ironic for me if I do), and all in all i'm holding down the fort at my end.
