My life has been a nonstop whirl for something like the last three weeks. While I'm having a good time, sometimes I think i want a month or two to catch my breath. To sit and enjoy the fall air. To maybe even cook for myself one of these days.
Of course, I say this and then seize on a chance to go see someone I don't get to see often, or to have a lively BBS conversation with Chris, or go down south to pick out pumpkins with the south-end branch of my family.
Maybe it's about time to take a week off. I think it may become necessary for my mental health--it's a chance to rest up and rejuvenate before the holidays and the endless round of parties arrive...

The young lady with the perfect legs is Kender, an evil (but in a good way!) woman who I had a crush on for a number of years. The devilishly handsome dude in the middle is Infiniverse, someone I dated for a while and who I remember fondly. The impressive man on the right is D, a guy who I used to hang out with some in Iowa. This is a picture taken at ICON this year, an event that I'm sorry to have missed.
Maybe I'll have to plan on next year. It would be good to go and see everyone again, I think.
I'm feeling distracted today. I put together a t-shirt store for Hell (as of right now, the designs aren't quite final; please don't buy anything until next week). Mostly, I just wanted to *do* it--we've been talking about t-shirts forever, but I wanted to finally get out there and do it. They're not the best thing ever--we really wanted black shirts--but i think they'll do.
(yeah, all of those are my designs. I borrowed the devil babe from a friend of mine on the BBS, so I can't take credit for her.)
Like I said, I'm scattered and distracted. Here's hoping I get some writing time in this weekend, and it doesn't rain too much.
