November 08, 2000: catsplosion
I had a catsplosion last night.
As background, Lilith occasionally sleeps in a space where if she's disturbed
at all, she'll come out of it instantly and be very, very frightened--I think
it's when she's having dreams. Generally, I find this out by touching her and
having chunks taken out of my legs and feet as she flies away.
So last night--i'm not sure what happened, but all three cats were asleep by my
head, as is their habit. I'm pretty sure Lilith exploded and so did the other
two cats, and someone left a couple of freely-bleeding claw marks in the side
of my face and, oddly enough, managed to hook a claw on the inside of my nose.
ow.
My nose still hurts, though the scores on the side of my face have mostly stopped hurting.
The exhaustion stops.
Eventually.
This is what I keep telling myself.
